Following significant planning history at the site we were tasked with supporting a proposed development at 40-68 Silver Street, Reading to provide 39 residential apartments. The site is highly accessible, but within Reading Borough Council (RBC)'s 'Zone 2' Parking Standards.
With significant experience working on projects in Reading and on car-free and car-lite developments we were able to successfully agree a reduced parking provision and overall acceptance of the scheme by RBC highway officers through the provision of an on-street car club.
