Our staff supported Downing Students to develop two student bedroom towards comprising a total of 1,394 bedrooms, 3,583sqm of office space, a leisure centre, café/restaurant and a rooftop multi-use games area (MUGA). The scheme was car-free and detailed support was required to support the proposed disabled car and cycle parking arrangements due to limited space on-site.
Innovative solutions were agreed with Lambeth Council including Brompton Lockers and evidence to demonstrate disabled parking demand which resulted in a reduced requirement.
