Over Farm, Gloucestershire
Over Farm is a working farm in Gloucester with an existing farm shop, farm animals and venue barn. The farm holds an annual Halloween ‘Frightmare’ event and other events throughout the year.
The Farm were seeking to provide a new Farm Park visitor attraction to include a range of leisure activities including an animal petting experience, landscaped areas, gardens and other elements, with anticipated visitor numbers of up to 200,000 per year.
Evoke provided assistance through the lifetime of the project; from initial advice in relation to parking requirements and masterplanning through to supporting the planning application through preparation of a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan, with particular attention to the bespoke trip generation generated by the site.
The scheme gained approval in September 2021, with Gloucestershire County Council Highways concluding “that there would not be an unacceptable impact on Highway Safety or severe impact on congestion”.
