Nick has worked in the transport planning industry since 2012, working on behalf of a number of public and private sector clients. Nick has a wide range of transport planning experience but now specialises in development planning and highways advice.
He has worked for and on behalf of public sector clients, including working for National Highways as a Spatial Planning patch manager for Staffordshire, Shropshire, and Herefordshire whilst reviewing and providing advice on planning applications across the wider Area 9 West Midlands region. He has also worked on behalf of many private sector clients, where he has supported a wide range of development schemes from strategic local plan residential sites to employment and leisure sites where he has had to communicate and negotiate with statutory consultees and other stakeholders. He has strong experience in producing supporting technical documents and a passion in supporting and implementing strategies for a range of clients.
In his spare time, Nick’s other passions are running, cycling, hiking, and generally enjoying the outdoors. He also has a passion for architecture and is a bit of a transport geek! He recently visited Botswana after being volunteer driver for their sports team during the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
